My new short story, "The Runner's Quilt," was inspired by a quilt I made with a dear friend and former soccer teammate before she moved away from Wisconsin. Part One appears in the March/April 2012 issue of Quiltmaker magazine, available now online, on newsstands, in quilt shops, and elsewhere. Part Two will appear in the May/June 2012 issue.
