"Elm Creek Quilts" Quilt Block Design Contest

In Jennifer Chiaverini's new novel, CIRCLE OF QUILTERS, applicants for two teaching positions at Elm Creek Quilt Camp are instructed to design an "Elm Creek Quilts" quilt block as a test of their quilting skills, creativity, and understanding of the spirit of Elm Creek Quilts.

In celebration of the publication of CIRCLE OF QUILTERS, Elm Creek Quilts fans were invited to design an original quilt block that will be used as the new logo for Elm Creek Quilts. The block that best captures the spirit of Elm Creek Quilts was chosen from among ten finalists by an online vote that ended November 1, 2006.
